In the heart of an ancient forest stood a forgotten cathedral, where the trees whisper secrets older than time itself. At the centre, above the altar stood a statue unlike any other. Her name was Elowen, a figure of a haunting stillness, suspended between worlds.
Elowen had once been a spirit in the forest, her presence a source of life and radiance, but a rune transformed her into stone. The cathedral, once filled with radiance, became a place of shadows and silence, fading. As the years wore on, the forest reclaimed the cathedral, vines creeping and moss discolouring the stone. However, the roses that crowned Elowen bloomed, their petals merging with the stone.
Though she remained silent and still, the forest and the cathedral seemed to breathe with her presence. The wind would sometimes stir the roses, and the light through the stained glass would cast fleeting colours on her form. But she remained a silent guardian, waiting to find her way back to the stars.
